Step 2: Floor and Furniture Protection (10 minutes)

Professional cleaning safeguards your flooring and belongings. We install floor coverings throughout the work areas: plastic runners in high-traffic paths, drop cloths near vents, and temporary door-frame protection for corners where equipment passes through.

This step needs 10 minutes but eliminates post-cleaning damage claims. Shortcutting this step is a common sign of budget or uncertified cleaning services.

Step 3: Pre-Sealing and Negative Pressure Setup (15 minutes)

The NADCA-standard cleaning method uses negative pressure air. We connect our truck-mounted HEPA vacuum system to your HVAC system via a temporary large-diameter hose (typically 10 inches). This creates negative pressure throughout the entire duct system, pulling contaminants out of the ducts and into our HEPA-filtered collection.

Step 4: Mechanical Cleaning of Individual Runs (60-90 minutes)

Once negative pressure active, technicians systematically clean each individual duct run. The process: remove each vent cover, insert a rotary brush system down each supply and return run, agitate the dust and debris loose from duct walls, and allow the negative pressure to pull debris into the vacuum collection.

Rotary brush systems rotate at the right speed to dislodge buildup without damaging duct interiors. Budget operators sometimes use inadequate equipment, which doesn't dislodge adhered buildup.

Step 5: Trunk Line Cleaning (20-30 minutes)
